Our mission is to serve Christ by providing comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable populations in our community addressing physical, mental, and spiritual needs in order to improve health outcomes and quality of life.
We envision a future where the low-income, uninsured residents of our county have access to comprehensive healthcare. We are a 501c(3), faith-based, charitable entity providing free primary care to adult residents in need. Our focus is to provide primary care services to those in need in our community, improve the health and wellness of patients served, educate patients to improve lifestyle and quality of life, address specific chronic care illnesses, and provide referrals to area agencies that can assist.

Job Title: CLinician (NP/PA)
Job Description
The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner provides compassionate, comprehensive primary care services to uninsured and underserved individuals in a free and charitable clinic setting. This role requires a clinician who is skilled in managing multi-diagnosis patients with both acute and chronic medical conditions and can work independently within their scope of practice. The PA or NP will function as part of a collaborative, mission-driven team committed to addressing the holistic needs of patients.
Qualifications, Skills, Education
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner program
Current licensure as a PA or NP in the state of Alabama and in good standing
Minimum 2 years’ experience in primary care, family medicine, or a community health setting preferred
Demonstrated ability to care for complex patients with limited resources
Commitment to serving vulnerable populations with empathy, dignity, and cultural humility
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Comfort working in a faith-based environment with a team missioned to care for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit
Preferred: Spanish-speaking
