Overview
3C Community Clinic is a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike (FQHC-LAL), founded in 2017 by Young Kim, DNP, FNP. We were established to serve the underserved immigrant population in Koreatown, Los Angeles, as a faith-based nonprofit organization.
Our beginnings were humble—without prior knowledge of health service administration, we built the clinic from the ground up. Looking back, we see this journey as evidence of God’s grace guiding and sustaining us. We often describe our story as an exciting walk of faith, not the result of our own plans, but of God’s providence. We remain a small but growing organization, believing that small is beautiful when done with faith and excellence.
Mission & Passions
We believe the purpose of God’s creation is to reveal Jesus Christ as the Light of Life. Through Him, God gives true life. For us, the most important thing is knowing God and knowing Jesus through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Our motto is simple: “We become alive so that others may become alive.”
We pursue deeper understanding of God by studying Scripture together, interpreting life experiences in light of His Word, and encouraging one another. We believe that true vitality—both spiritual and professional—flows out of truly knowing Him.
We also believe that a thoughtful, research-informed approach to care is part of faithful stewardship—seeking evidence, measuring outcomes, and learning systematically how best to serve those entrusted to us.
