Job Title: Head of Department, Community Health and Development at Moffat Bible College
Job Description
You would be responsible for overseeing all academic activities of the Community Health and Development Department. It is a small department with a huge impact.
You will also oversee various ministry activities of the department. This is where students gain considerable practical experience in direct community engagement. You will enjoy working with a very supportive school administration and will instruct and mentor a cadre of very committed and gifted students.
Qualifications, Skills, Education
This position is not salaried by Moffat but has been filled in the past by missionaries seconded to Moffat. The ideal candidate will be either a self-supported mature Christian or a supported missionary willing to serve on the faculty of an evangelical Bible college in Africa and possessing an infectious passion for community-based ministry. You must have at least a master's degree in a relevant field of study: theology or development would be ideal. Your background in development should include familiarity with community health issues. This is a very "niche" position, but for the right person, it is incredibly fun and rewarding.
