Clinical Group Physician (MD or DO)

Overview

We are a large, Federally Qualified Health Center in Central Texas, caring for nearly 60,000 patients, with a strong commitment to equitable, evidence-based holistic medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare for the vulnerable.   Our Community Health Center is a designated Patient Centered Medical Home and coordinates a robust collaborative of community health partnerships. In addition to an in-house pharmacy, our clinic system also offers a sizable network of in-house specialty service clinics (HIV, Hep C, Sports Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Wound Care), providing low-cost specialty care to our unfunded patients. We are a faith-friendly organization — the majority of our staff have a sense of vocation to care for the poor, a direct expression of their faith in action.

Mission & Passions

Our passion is to facilitate whole person health and wellness for our patients and community. Recognizing the disparities affecting our community, we have developed multi-sector partnerships to effectively address social drivers of health. Those efforts include integration of behavioral health providers in every clinic, a wellness and fitness center, a prescription produce program and teaching kitchen, a medical-legal partnership, and collaboration with community health workers. We are committed to providing evidence-based medical, behavioral and dental care in all settings: ambulatory, inpatient, and long-term. This is how we "love our neighbors as ourselves."
