Since our founding in 2007 we have continuously received strong support and financial investment from our community. As a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we have been proven to provide the highest quality care and services that are tailored to each patient’s specific needs. The mission of our clinic is to provide quality and affordable holistic healthcare to the low income, the uninsured and the medically indigent among the population of our community. Our patient population is comprised mostly of limited English proficient immigrants from China, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Taiwan.

Job Title - Nurse Practitioner
Seeking a Nurse Practitioner, with prior work experience in a FQHC, who would like to grow with our organization. As the needs from the community increases, the clinic is searching for a Nurse Practitioner who shares in our mission and whose heart desire is also to serve the poor and the afflicted and similarly, want to make a difference in the lives of their patients.
Perform history and physical examinations on adults and children (if trained to do so). Physical exams include pre-employment, school, sports, well child periodic screening, etc.
Perform Pap smears, breast examinations, and other medical services as needed.
Counsel for birth control and prescribe as appropriate.
Gather complete medical history and perform a physical exam on each client.
Make diagnosis and provide treatment.
Write prescriptions as deemed appropriate by supervising physician.
Review results of lab tests and diagnostic imaging and arranges appropriate follow-up.
Provides for the provision of health education and appropriately documents all health education.
Reviews referral/consultant reports and arranges appropriate follow-up.
Answers miscellaneous medical questions in the absence of the Nursing Director or Medical Director.
Perform the duties of RN as a backup, including triage, responding to call from pharmacies and specialists' offices.
Participate in peer reviews
Be an on-call provider as rotated.
Education, Skills, & Experience
Equivalent to a Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
State of California Nurse Practitioner license
Must possess current DEA registration
Must obtain CME as required by license renewal.
Fluent in Bilingual English and Cantonese/Mandarin preferred
Knowledge of public health principles and practices preferred
