Our FQHC clinics provide high-quality healthcare to the city’s under-served. Our medical, dental, behavioral, and pharmacy services seek to be distinctively Christian by recognizing Jesus Christ as both the true healer and source of ability. We desire to see individual patients and their communities healed, through special outreach to groups including refugees, grade-school kids, pregnant women, HIV-infested persons, homeless adults, struggling parents, and the local churches.
Expected patient care hours include: outpatient clinic an average of 3-4 half day shifts per week (4hrs/shift): inpatient labor call an average of 24 hours per week; operating an average of 0.5 to 1 day per week in OR; and back-up call to Family Medicine Obstetricians (FM-OB’s). Additional call is compensated. Our Obstetrics inpatient service at Baptist Women’s Hospital is staffed by our call team of OB-GYNs and FM-OB’s. OB-GYNs also have operating privileges, including robotic surgery privileges at two large Memphis Hospitals.
