Overview

We are a Federally Qualified Health Care Center that opened in 1982 starting as a three-room office in a church basement to a full-service health care center with three locations. Every activity is focused on meeting the whole-person health care needs of our urban Pennsylvania city. We provide primary care, pediatrics, dental, prenatal/obstetrics, behavioral health and laboratory services. Our clinic has been distinctively faith-based since its inception, offering prayer with every visit, recognizing every person is made in God’s image, worthy of good care and welcome at the Center.

Job Title - Podiatrist

Job Description -

We are seeking a part-time Podiatrist to join our team of healthcare providers.

· Currently licensed in PA and practicing as a Podiatrist (DPM, MD) Assess the condition of a patient's feet, ankles, or lower legs by reviewing his or her medical history, listening to the patient's concerns, and performing a physical examination.

· Treat a variety of foot, and ankle ailments, including calluses, ingrown toenails, heel spurs, and arch problems.

· Diagnose foot, ankle, and lower-leg issues through physical exams, x rays, medical laboratory tests, and other methods.

· Provide treatment for foot, ankle, and lower leg ailments, such as prescribing special shoe inserts (orthotics) to improve a patient's mobility.

· Perform foot and ankle surgeries, such as removing bone spurs and correcting foot and ankle deformities.

· Give advice and instruction on foot and ankle care and general wellness techniques.

· Prescribe medications, refer patients to other physicians or specialists if they detect more significant health problems, such as diabetes.

· Our Podiatry Services include but are not limited to: Diabetic Foot Care Venous, Pressure and Traumatic Wounds and Ulcers Heel, Ankle and Foot Pain Bunions and Hammer Toes
