Job Title - Clinical Quality Manager

Job Description

A faith based charitable non-profit Community Health Center serving a large urban city in Michigan, has created a new opportunity for a Clinical Quality Manager to lead the overall clinical quality for all sites.

  • This role will monitor, evaluate and identify data trends to make recommendations for clinical and operational improvement initiatives.

  • Working collaboratively with clinical managers and physicians, the Quality Manager will ensure PCMH recognition (NCQA and BCBS) and Meaningful Use Program requirements are achieved. 

  • The position will also develop and coordinate provider practice and education for all clinical staff, as well as perform on-site clinical evaluations through medical records audits.

  • Develops and implements policies and procedures related to quality improvement, including education of staff for employee health and patient safety (per OSHA compliance).


  • The successful candidate will possess a Nursing or related allied health degree and two plus years' experience in clinical Quality Improvement in a healthcare setting

  • Must have demonstrated successful project management experience and proven ability to produce, interpret and monitor data for use in decision-making.

  • Knowledge and experience with one or more of clinical standards of care such as HEDIS, PCMH and Meaningful Use incentives will be a plus. 

  • Proficiency in using a PC in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint essential. 

  • Basic knowledge and use of Access desirable.
