Our clinic is a non-profit clinic on the West side of Atlanta with a mission of "spreading Christ's love through quality health care to those in need." The clinic uses a full circle of health model with includes comprehensive medical care, dental care, behavioral health, health education, and healthy living which includes our farm, market, and community fitness center. We are a nationally recognized patient centered medical home and opened our doors to patients in 1999.

Job Title - Staff Physician

Job Description

We are looking for a family or internal medicine board certified or eligible physician to join our primary care team and provide patients with high-quality treatment and diagnostic services. The ideal candidate is a compassionate healthcare professional committed to our mission of spreading Christ’s love though quality healthcare to those in need. The person in the Staff Physician role will be responsible for meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients in our clinic and providing them with healthcare services that meet state and national standards for caregiving. The right candidate will have a passion for providing healthcare that responds to the multiple facets of health, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to address the patient’s mental health, nutrition, and social needs. Although speaking a second language is not required, the Physician will need to be comfortable providing care for people of multiple cultural backgrounds, particularly Spanish speaking patients. Our clinic is a certified patient centered medical home, and the physician will be expected to work at least some Saturdays. The physician may also be asked to supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Job Qualifications Education, Skills, and Experience   

  • MD or DO degree. Board certification or eligibility required.

  • If board eligible, board certification is required within the first year of employment

  • Maintain a state license and DEA number without restriction required

  • Maintain current CPR/BLS certification

  • Knowledge of clinical practice of medicine, health care delivery systems, utilization methods and treatment

  • Experience conducting evidence-based treatments

  • Communication skills both oral and written, ideally both in English and in Spanish

  • Background check required on employment

  • Updated COVID vaccinations
